EmoryCard

As an Emory student, you will need an EmoryCard. It identifies you as a member of the Emory community, and is also required for access to campus services, including libraries, building entry, recreation centers.

You need to have your EmoryCard ready when the semester begins. Please review the information below for instructions on submitting your photo and picking up your card.

Submit a Photo

New LGS students are required to upload a photo of themselves and an image of their  goverment-issued photo ID. Both must be approved by one of the deadlines below

Priority Deadline: July 1

Students who complete photo submission and approval by July 1 will have the best chance of receiving their EmoryCard in an earlier distribution cycle, which is especially important for timely building access.

Final Deadline: July 22

Failure to have an uploaded and approved photo by the final deadline will delay orientation participation and the start of courses.

Pick up Your EmoryCard

EmoryCards will be available for pick-up with your program in August, shortly before LGS Orientation. Please watch for email communications and updates to this page regarding specific pickup dates.

To pick up your EmoryCard, you must present a government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or passport) to verify your identity.
