The Laney Graduate School offers several dual and joint degree programs.
- Dual degrees are typically pursued completed in stages and awarded sequentially
- Joint degrees are typically pursued in a mixed curriculum and awarded together
Dual Degrees
Bioethics
The Master's program in Bioethics can be combined with degrees from schools across Emory — Medicine, Law, Nursing, Public Health and Theology.
Development Practice
The Masters of Development Practice program offers a dual degree program with the Candler School of Theology.
PhD/MPH
Doctoral students in the LGS can combine their degree with an MPH degree from one of four departments in the Rollins School of Public Health.
Joint Degrees
MD/PhD
Emory's MD/PhD program is open to doctoral students in all disciplines. Prospective applicants should visit the MD/PhD website as early as possible.
JD/PhD
The JD/PhD is offered through the Center for the Study of Law and Religion.
