Opportunities Deadline Approaching Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Department of Defense Internship Virtual Recruitment Fair The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is hosting a virtual recruitment fair to highlight the variety of paid internships, fellowships and research associate appointments available within our Research Participants Program. During the event, students will have the opportunity to chat with recruiters and mentors from different Department of Defense research programs, learn about the research conducted within those programs, explore the paid internships and research associate appointments, and connect with recruiters to learn more.
Deadline Approaching Science ATL Communication Fellowship The Science ATL Communication Fellowship, sponsored by Emory University, is designed to help close the communication gap between scientists and the public. This fellowship is open to Atlanta-area graduate students and post-docs from any institute of higher education. Fellows will gain practical experience in writing a science article for the public that will be promoted on Science ATL's digital platforms. In addition, each Fellow will work on a public engagement activity to be incorporated into the 2021 Atlanta Science Festival.
Data Incubator Fall 2020 Data Science Fellowship Application The Data Incubator is an intensive eight-week fellowship that prepares masters and doctoral students, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields for industry careers as data scientists.

Library Appointments Available to Faculty and Graduate Students Emory Libraries are available to support your research needs. For those not approved to return to campus or with limited access, the libraries will provide access to resources electronically. Whenever possible, some requests for physical materials can be accommodated.
Please submit any requests from the physical collections through discoverE. Log in with your EmoryID and follow the instructions. If a digital alternative is not possible, library staff will work with you to get a physical copy and coordinate pick up times.

CIRTL Summer Offerings CIRTL (Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning) will be running courses, a MOOC, teaching institutes , and online teaching office hours this summer, each designed to dig into specific aspects of inclusive, effective, evidence-based STEM pedagogy.
Libraries & Information Technology Services: Canvas 1-2-3 Beginning June 1, LITS will offer several Canvas workshops. Topics include: Canvas Essentials, Grading and Assignments, Student Activity, Canvas Studio, Quizzing, Analytics.
