New! Publishing, Postdocs, and VAPS, Oh My! - On Article & Journal Publishing The Office for RACE and Laney EDGE are excited to pilot a new series titled "Publishing, Postdocs, and VAPS, Oh My! Thriving in Academia as an Early Career POC." The second of the three-part speaker series offered by the Office of RACE and Laney EDGE features Dr. Briana Woods-Jaeger, Emory Department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences.

New! 2021 Lasker Essay Contest The Lasker Essay Contest engages young scientists and clinicians from the US and around the globe in a discussion about big questions in biology and medicine and the role of biomedical research in our society today. Winners will receive up to $5,000.

A User’s Guide to Understanding Pronouns, Part 3 Laney EDGE presents A User’s Guide to Understanding Pronouns, Part 3 – the third installment in the A User’s Guide to Understanding Pronouns seminar series in partnership with the Office of LGBT Life. Part 3 will focus on discussions centered on gender, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
Deadline Approaching! National Humanities Center Graduate Student Summer Residency Program The Mellon Interventions Project will support up to ten doctoral students for the residency program, “Meaningful Teaching and Learning in the Humanities Classroom.” This program will model best practices for undergraduate teaching that can be modified for face-to-face, virtual, or hybrid instruction. Interested students may submit their applications by the deadline.

Debt Management Workshop for Doctoral Students Emory is dedicated to ensuring that our students have all the necessary tools to manage their debt and have a successful student loan repayment experience. This seminar will also address questions regarding student loan types and managing debt while enrolled in school.
Transitioning In-Person Networking Skills Online Workshop During this virtual workshop, you will practice strategies to transition networking skills to various online scenarios.
Strengths-Based Networking Workshop This workshop discusses the goals of networking and practice strategies for starting, continuing, and ending conversations in ways that are both authentic and professional.
