New! UNSHARED ORIGINS: Pattern, Process, Practice and Power in human evolution research Emory's Department of Anthropology hosts a webinar led by Dr. Rebecca Rogers Ackerman from the University of Capetown.
New! Giving Presentations in an Online Environment Workshop LGS invites all students to attend the second of a four-part series that covers presenting work in a virtual environment. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to attend all four parts of the series.
New! Emory's Black and Pandemic Poetry Initiatives Emory's English department invites students to share poems by their favorite writers on the subjects of diasporic Blackness or the pandemic. Submit poems and a brief blurb for publication in a twice-weekly newsletter. Submissions will be curated under the guidance of Professors Jericho Brown and Geraldine Higgins.

3MT (Three Minute Thesis) Information Session This information session is being held to discuss the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition, an academic competition in which graduate students deliver a compelling presentation to a non-specialist audience in three minutes or less.

Jones Program in Ethics: Mini Grants The Jones Program in Ethics is pleased to announce a series of mini-grants for Laney Graduate School PhD students. Winners will convene a virtual JPE 610 session during the Spring or Fall 2021 semester.
Grant Writing Coaching LGS is offering grant writing coaching to students in the humanities and social sciences who are preparing grant and fellowship applications.
