FREE Compassion Training Opportunity for Students

The Center for Student Wellbeing is offering a 9-week Cognitively Based Compassion Training (CBCT®) program for students this spring! Students who enroll will receive one year of free access to CompassionU.

CBCT is an evidence-based program developed at Emory’s Center for Compassion-Based Ethics that strengthens emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing. The program has demonstrated that compassion, especially self-compassion, reduces stress, improves mood stability, and helps individuals respond to challenges with greater clarity and care. These skills are particularly valuable for students navigating academic pressure, interpersonal stress, and ongoing uncertainty.

The program offers two dedicated cohorts, one for undergraduates and one for graduate students, that combine self-paced modules through CompassionU, an online platform that delivers the core curriculum, paired with weekly, instructor-led sessions to process and practice the skills.
