Dear Laney Graduate School Community,
I write to provide important and exciting updates to the LGS Advanced Student Fellowships for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Recognizing and appreciating the challenges for securing funding in the final years of PhD completion, LGS is revising the application timeline and funding level for students seeking advanced fellowships.
First, the application process will start earlier in the fall 2020 term so that all decisions are made by the end of 2020, before the start of the spring 2021 term.
Second, I am pleased to announce that the nine-month stipend level for completion fellowships will increase to $23,831 beginning in the fall 2021 term.
Please monitor the LGS Advanced Student Fellowships webpage for the latest guidelines and calls for applications.
With you, -Lisa
