Mellon Interventions Grant Application Support Need help crafting a successful grant application for one of our Mellon Interventions funding opportunities? Look no further!
The Mellon Humanities PhD Program Interventions ("Mellon Interventions") project provides opportunities for graduate funding to explore public scholarship, innovative teaching, and diverse career paths. Our Grant Application Support sessions are designed to assist graduate students with guidance on crafting a successful application, questions about the submission process, and support for their funded work. The next two support sessions will be on Friday, December 16, from 10 a.m. until noon; and Friday, January 20, from 10 a.m. until noon. Additional sessions will be held in Spring 2023. |
Deadlines to apply for Mellon Interventions funding are: Dec. 30* (For Fall 2022) Jan. 31, Mar. 31, May 31** (For Spring 2023) There may be new deadlines during early Summer 2023 (TBD). *Students graduating in Fall 2022 are not eligible to apply during this cycle and any cycles thereafter. **Students graduating in Spring 2023 are not eligible to apply during this cycle and any cycles thereafter. |
Emory Announces Minimum Wage Increase for Hourly Student Workers Emory University will increase its minimum wage for student workers to $15 an hour over the next three years. The minimum hourly pay rate for all student workers will rise to $12 an hour in January 2023. In September 2023, rates will increase to $13.50 and increase again in September 2024 to $15 an hour. |

Reminder: Emory University international travel policy requires all Emory-sponsored international travel to be approved by the student’s school of enrollment. For LGS students, all Emory-related international travel, regardless of funding source (e.g., PDS award, program funding, etc.), MUST be approved through the LGS International Travel Permission Form.

Emory’s School of Medicine, Vascular Surgery, seeks a post-doctoral fellow with experience in cell culture, animal procedures operations and breeding, and Western bot and qPCR. The Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) program is soliciting proposals for graduate student-designed and performed research projects that contribute to the Science Mission Directorate’s (SMD) science, technology, and exploration goals.
Proposals must present a well-defined research problem/activity and a justification of its scientific significance to NASA. FINESST awards are research grants for up to three years and up to $50K per year. Deadline: February 7
