We write to remind you of the resources that are available to support your technology and financial hardship needs.
Technology Resources
Please refer to the resources listed here for support related to technology needs. If you are facing technical challenges or need remote learning accommodations, please inform your instructors as soon as possible.
- Computer: If you do not have access to a reliable computer, please submit an Emergency Funding Request form. Select “Online/Remote Learning” and describe your technology hardware needs. If you are having trouble accessing the form, please close the browser, clear the cache, and open the form on a refreshed page.
- Internet: Many providers are providing FREE Wi-Fi options such as hotspots in your area, service for 60 days, and hotspot functionality on your cell phone.
- Technology Support: The Student Technology Support team is available to answer questions and provide technical assistance through their online help desk, by email (SDL-help@emory.edu), or by phone (404-727-7777). Visit their self-service website for answers to the most frequently asked questions.
- Software: The Student Technology Support team can help you locate and request available software for Emory students.
Financial Hardship Resources
Please refer to the Emory COVID-19 FAQs webpage for the most up to date information on financial hardship resources.
- Emergency Funding Request: Emory has launched the EmoryTogether Fund to support students with emergency funding needs for food, housing, health, travel, remote learning, family, or other needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Funding Request form is available now for requests related to the Spring 2020 semester.Requests related to the Summer 2020 semester will open on May 1, 2020. More information about this resource is available through the Center for Student Success Programs and Services. - Student Hardship Fund: Emory continues to provide funding for students facing financial hardship through the Student Hardship Fund. More information about the application process is available through the Office of Financial Aid.
