- Entry Phase (First Year): Graduate students become accustomed to the culture of graduate education, expectations of doctoral research, and understanding of the advisor/advisee relationship.
- Integration Phase (Second Year): Graduate students begin to flourish when they acquire basic competency in their field of study and are comfortable and confident moving around new social spaces, including the introduction into communities of practice.
- Enhancement Phase (Third & Fourth Years): Graduate students turn theory into practice, produce new knowledge, and make investments to enhance themselves and the global good.
- Culmination Phase (5+ Years): Graduate students begin their pathway to a professional role after graduation

Local Food Resources
Fulton/DeKalb County Library Chromebook Checkout
Free online Professional Development resources are available to Emory students through the Fulton County library. All Emory students can obtain a Fulton County Library card with their Emory ID and check out a Chromebook for up to 21 days.
Students who live in DeKalb County can obtain a DeKalb County Library card and check out a Chromebook for up to 21 days. The nearest libraries are downtown Decatur and Toco Hills.
