Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Information Session
This information session is being held to discuss the
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®)
competition, an academic competition in which graduate students deliver a compelling presentation about their research to a non-specialist audience in three minutes or less. Laney Graduate School students who participate receive periodic feedback and one-on-one coaching as they prepare their presentations for the popular 3MT Finals competition, tentatively scheduled for early April, 2022.
Benefits of participation include sharing your work and its impact with a wider audience, refining your presentation skills, joining the 3MT community around the world (3MTs are now held at over 600 universities in 60 countries), and potentially becoming Emory’s 2022 3MT winner and advancing to the regional competition. If you are interested in competing, please join us at one of these information sessions to learn more.
